Durable and robust

About Trayzilla: The seed tray designed for long-term use and made entirely from recycled HDPE*.

The Trayzillas are manufactured using injection molding, making the components solid with a thickness of 2 mm.

Cleaning:

Brush it with a brush and the tray is ready for the next sowing. If you want to clean Trayzilla more thoroughly, throw it in a bucket of water or in the dishwasher (max 40°C).

Guarantee:

If a part is lost or broken, in many cases the parts can be replaced free of charge. This extends the product's lifespan.

*HDPE stands for High-Density Polyethylene and is a very sustainable plastic. It is one of the most sustainable plastics produced. HDPE is so sustainable because it is fully recyclable and has a long lifespan.

Strong seedlings in seed tray

Closed sides Due to the closed sides the roots only grow downwards and branch very little.

With air pruning

More lateral roots, which ensures

better absorption of water and nutrients.

Without air pruning

The roots only grow in a vertical direction, which can become a weak point.

With air pruning

Thanks to the Trayzilla system, the roots remain intact and stress for the plant is kept to a minimum, which significantly increases the chances of survival after transplanting.

Planting, storing and cleaning

Planting out:

The unique thing about this system is that you do not damage the roots when planting out (transplanting) because you can take the seed tray apart, so you protect the roots as if they were your own fingers.

Storage: The seed trays can be stored flat, so they take up minimal space. Their robust design prevents them from tearing or breaking easily.

Eurocrate as a tray: Use a Eurocrate as a tray for your seed trays. These sturdy crates are waterproof and specially designed for transport, making moving your seedlings to the garden much easier.

What's more, they're stackable, which is especially handy during the busy months of April to June when all your seedlings need to be planted out. One euro crate can hold as many as eight Trayzillas!

The crates' robust material guarantees a long lifespan. They're also multifunctional, suitable for harvesting, storing tools, or, of course, for your Trayzillas.

For 20 plants you only need 200 grams (0.35 liters) of potting soil.

bed: 0,7 x 10 m

planting distance: 25 x 25 cm

For 120 plants, 6 Trayzillas (20) are sufficient
